The following is a list of studio policies.
Trust me, there's a reason for each of them...

  • Securing Your Time Slots

In order to reserve the time agreed upon between the client and the studio, a $50 deposit is due at the time of scheduling. This deposit will go towards the hourly rate. If the studio time is cancelled by the client, the deposit will not be returned. A new $50 deposit will be required for any new time requested.

  • Cancellations

Cancellation of sessions must be confirmed at least 24 hours before session time.  Cancellation of sessions without prior notice will be billed a flat fee of $50.  Blackout cancellation rates are determined client by client.

  • Late Arrivals

Late arrivals will be billed 50% of the time scheduled up to 2 hours, at which time the session can be cancelled at the descretion of the studio. Remember that it's always better to be 10 minutes early than 10 minutes late.

  • Payment

Payment of services and media are due upon the end of each session. Payment can be made by Cash, Check, Money Order or Pay Pal account.

  • Media, Back-ups and Storage

All media shall be supplied by the studio and the client will be responsible for the cost of the media, as determined by the studio. The studio shall provide prices of media to the client for approval prior to initiating sessions.  All media created in a session including but not limited to DVD’s, CD’s, Hard Drives, Floppy Disks, Zip Disks, Cassettes, DAT’s, etc. will remain the property of the studio until the account balance has been paid in full.

At the end of each session, a back-up of the files will be transferred to a secondary hard drive.  All necessary precautions will be taken to prevent the unlikely loss of data.

  • Other Stuff

No drugs or alcohol are allowed inside the studio or in the parking lot of the studio. Smoking is allowed outside only.

Equipment or instrument damage due to client negligence will be billed accordingly.

Although many of my projects I have recorded are retail ready when they leave the door, I will make no promises or guarantees that your project will sound better than a major label release.  This is based largely upon equipment limitations, source quality and playability. I will, however, make every effort within my control to make your project sound as professional and competitive as it can.
